Lovely breakfast with homemade jams and great hospitality from Adrian. The shower pressure could be improved. Short walk to the golf course.

room was incredibly small with cobwebs everywhere, which is charming, I guess? breakfast only on 1 night is a spectacular idea, nearly perfect if they offered it both days. I was hoping for at least a complimentary treat, seeing as I had to put up with the grandfather clock chiming through the night.

We loved visiting the nearby Lakes aquarium, perfect for our teenage daughter. The breakfasts were delicious, especially Heather's homemade preserves. Enjoying the tranquil environment was great, with just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Bowness.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the parking was less cramped.

Had a lovely time at this quaint B&B, enjoying the delicious breakfast options and relaxing by the charming waterfall in the garden. It was the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the nearby walks and taking in the fresh air. The room was a bit snug, but it was cozy enough for our stay, and I’d recommend packing light to make it easier! 😊

Perfect pit stop in the Lake District
We had a lovely time relaxing here! Adrian was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was comfy and fresh after a long drive, and we enjoyed a peaceful afternoon reading in the garden. Breakfast options were tasty, though a bit more variety would’ve been nice. Definitely a cozy spot!

Had a great time with friends! The hosts were super nice, and the breakfast was top-notch every morning. Don't miss the peaceful waterfall at the back. it's a nice touch! We explored the Lakes aquarium, which was fun, and went fishing at Esthwaite. The location is a short walk to the town.
The only downside was that the room was a bit snug, but it was cozy enough for our stay.
